The SLT Resource Co has been rebranded from Letgotoholdon, which was initially created in October 2020, during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic. While being a Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) student, I began designing stationery products with the aim of making people feel seen and included and to provide high quality products that I would buy myself as an avid stationery lover. 

After qualifying as a Speech and Language Therapist, juggling a small business alongside full-time work became more difficult, but I still enjoyed the creative focus on SLT in my business. While I continued building my expertise in my full-time role as a specialist therapist, I also took on associate work, supporting other private therapists in providing evidence-based SLT, specifically in early communication, Autism, language, social communication and AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication).

With the dual-focus of SLT in both my professional and business life, I decided to re-invent my business into The SLT Resource Co to continue to provide SLT products but to also begin to develop resources for students, parents and support staff, and to offer independent speech and language therapy services. I hope to continue to create products that people feel seen in, to empower others in supporting children and young people with communication needs, and to increase education and access to speech and language therapy within culturally diverse backgrounds.
